About Me

I believe that wildlife photography, especially bird photography, is not just an art form, but also a journey of understanding the fascinating species that coexist with us. I consider myself fortunate to have the mindset and passion to be a part of their existence. Through this process, I am able to witness and capture moments as a bird photographer.

I feel incredibly privileged to be a member of the Cumberland Bird Observers Club. It provides me with the opportunity to connect and engage with some of the finest bird watchers, both nationally and locally.

I'm an event manager based in Sydney, Australia. Though I was born in Kolkata, India, a good part of my life took place in Delhi.

In 2010, during a team trip to Jim Corbett, I had a pivotal moment. Meeting local bird guides, I was introduced to India's diverse birdlife. It was then that I realized I was not only a product of this incredible nation, but also a resident of a place that's home to over 1300 bird species.

This revelation changed my life. From that point on, I was determined to capture the beauty of these birds through my camera lens.

After this realization, I dove into a world where birds became my main focus. Meeting inspiring people in the field became a regular occurrence. One mentor, Rajesh Panwar, continues to play a crucial role in my journey.
